Aims & Scope :
The aim of the Journal of the Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers is to provide an international forum for the publication and dissemination of original works that contribute to the understanding of the following fields of mechanical engineering: Materials and Fracture, CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) and Applied Mechanics, Dynamics and Control, Production and Design Engineering, and Reliability. Manuscripts may fall into several categories including regular contributed papers, technical papers, solicited/unsolicited reviews or commentaries.

Year of launching (history) :
This journal was founded as “Proceedings of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of Korea" on Oct. 25, 1963, and along with technical commentary and papers were published at that time. Since 1974, "Proceedings" for a research paper and "Magazines" for technical commentary had been published in separation. In 1986, The proceedings has changed its name to IEIE PAPER(Journal of The Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers) and been published to date.

Letter to editor is always welcomed on the published articles.
